The Winona State Krueger Library uses the Library of Congress (LC) call number system for organization of most of our collections.  Here is a help guide, including a video, which explains how the LC system works.

You will also need to know the location of the collection in which the book or item resides. This collection location can be found within the catalog record of your book or item.   Here are two version of the same book. The first book can be found in the Juvenile Collection - 1st floor of the Krueger Library. The second copy is located in the same location, however it was checked out at the time this screenshot was taken.
